Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a 2019 action game in which a master shinobi named Wolf must rescue his master, the young Lord Kuro, who has been kidnapped by the powerful samurai Genichiro Ashina, heir to the Ashina Clan. Kuro's inherited bloodline, known as the Dragon's Heritage, makes him immortal and unkillable, and this blood runs through Wolf's veins as well. After being rescued however, Kuro decides that he wants to rid the world of the Dragon's Heritage so no one will covet its power ever again. Thus, Wolf gets swept up in a quest to find a way to end the curse of Kuro's immortality... and his own.
