There's a reason so many commercial developers and businesses work this way, because it allows you to be very nimble at the start as you figure everything out, and build the larger team when you're ready to make a larger financial commitment to the project.
Every project has a hand-off, and we provide 3d models, CAD backgrounds, and key code notes/ specifications as a way to provide a springboard for a permit & construction model to be built. There's plenty to figure out... so this is just the beginning, but we've found that this package can significantly help clients achieve better outcomes, with a more complete understanding of the project from the early phases.
We work this way, simply because it has shown to be the most valuable for the clients.
