Former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo has celebrated South Africa’s human rights day by delivering the inaugural Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi lecture.
Obasanjo delivered the speech at the Durban International Convention Centre.
According to him, Buthelezi, a pivotal figure in South African history, displayed the qualities of being a leader from a young age.
The former Nigerian leader urged the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) and the African National Congress (ANC) to collaborate for the benefit of the South African people.
