The SIRE V7 is a nice instrument to look at. It has a great silhouette, and a pearl ivory pick guard that adds a real touch of elegance. You can choose from alder finishes, ash and more to suit your own personal tastes.
The V7 mixes some old school traditions with new technology to deliver unmatched sound and playability. The hardware is exceptional at this price point most musicians agree.
The high mass bridge is a great combination of string capability, simplicity and stability.
The body is a bit heavy but it is something that you can get used to quickly and it turns out it is a plus when playing. Whether you are standing up or seated you get the same balanced feel which works out nicely.
The Electronics.
This review focuses on the most exceptional part of the V7. Thee electronics. The electronics on the SIRE bass has exceptional electronics that are simply amazing at this price. You can tell that SIRE has really put the work in.
From the preamps to the tone control, the V7 has it all. The preamp delivers a stacked mid section and the tone control has both an andactive mode and passive mode.
The equalizer delivers at every sonic request and does it with crisp clear sound. The notes project well and are well-defined even at exceptional volume levels.
The fact is getting used to the V7 was simple. Like with every new instrument you do have to find your sweet spot and exploit it but we were able to find the sweet spot pretty fast and were able to get to business.
Some Serious Pluses.
Besides the legendary style there are some serious positives when it comes to the SIRE V7. This bass guitar delivers great playability, excellent versatility and really packs some amazing bang for the buck.
There really is not anything bad to say about this guitar. At this price point you get a lot of features that have been perfected with the V7. It has already picked up quite a following among bass players because it just delivers exactly what it promises.
The J style really works out well and a nod has to be given to Marcus Miller for his input into this great instrument.
One of the stunning realizations that came about when playing this instrument was how clearly obvious it was that a well-known guitarist had a hand it designing this guitar.
The clear design elements that were present ranged from the weight to the width and the placement of the knobs. The entire set up is completely intuitive and really focused on delivering exceptional playability.

The SIRE V7 does not disappoint. It has great pick up and great sound. There ae some things that will require you getting used to but we go over those things in the review.
