Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), gathered in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to speak out against possible restrictions to the social media app proposed by U.S. lawmakers and supported by the Biden administration. This comes as TikTok’s CEO Shou Zi Chew is expected to testify before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Thursday.
