War has brought much damage to Afghanistan’s cultural traditions. But Murad Khane, a historic arts district of Kabul, has become the home for a new generation of artisans striving to keep old skills alive.
Some of them are visiting Washington DC to let American visitors engage with Afghanistan through the lens of beauty.
