If you're considering on getting a Sony Ericsson K700i, please be aware that a lot of K700 units have faulty joysticks. It's a very widespread and common issue with this particular model.

Not all phones with joysticks are affected, the one in the Sony Ericsson K810i, for example, works just fine. The one in the Samsung SGH-E590 also works just fine.

I wouldn't really trust all Sony Ericsson models that have joysticks though. There is good reason for them to not use any more in any of their phones after the K810i (which is the last phone by Sony Ericsson to use a joystick AFAIK).
