Orta San Giulio is a truly beautiful and amazing little village. The nearby San Giulio Island adds another element to be appreciated. We drove to Lake Orta from Baveno on a small road that makes a relatively direct path thru the hills above Lake Maggiore and enjoyed some great views of Verbania on Lake Maggiore at the top.
