After a quick day trip to Dallas and Chicago, I hop onboard another American ERJ-145 on a short 25 minute flight back to Champaign. 135 or so miles covered in less than 30 minutes is a nice and fast (but also far more expensive) alternative to the two hours it takes by car or train. Aside from a basic E145 review, I enjoyed making this video for two reasons. First off the opportunity to recount an awesome memory of a few years back flying the Qatar 777-300ER from Terminal 3. Secondly I'm glad for each opportunity I get to fly the Embraer 145 as I have heard rumors that these small birds won't be around for much longer.
