Hey, everyone! This is part one in what will be a three part mini series showcasing the new Siemens Mobility built ALC-42 long distance passenger diesel-electric locomotives pulling Amtrak's Coast Starlight passenger train between Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA. This first part shows the locomotives running on the section of the route in California, particularly on the section between Ventura and San Jose. Both southbound train 11 and northbound train 14 are shown with Charger locomotives leading the...er...charge. Locomotives 305, 306, and 308 are featured, wearing the Phase VI livery with 309 and 320 sporting the latest Phase VII scheme. For this video, I have returned to several locations that have been featured in my videos over the years along with a few new ones. Anyway, if you have any questions or comments, be sure to share those down below! Thanks!
