By mixing Squadron putty (others 1-part putty should work just as well) you can make the thick and difficult to apply putty into more of a runny slurry that I find adheres to items way better. Also this is handy if you want to cover a large area in a thin layer of putty for purposes of removing visible layer lines prior to printing. Let the mixture dry about an hour before you proceed with sanding the model. Please do this in a well ventilated area as the model cement and putty both put off some pretty nasty fumes!
