Hi friends! Thanks for joining me as I redecorate a spare bedroom and make it into a cozy coastal shabby chic farmhouse guest bedroom retreat. I have added some helpful tips to help you decorate your bedroom, whether it's a small spare bedroom or a master bedroom in your house. This project only cost me less than $150 to accomplish.

1 thrifted IKEA entertainment center from Facebook Marketplace - $30
1 full-size bed - $0 (I used my daughter's old bed)
Full-size cream colored ruffled coverlet with 2 standard ruffle shams - $60
3 decorative pillows - $0 (shopped at home)
TV Tray - $2 from Goodwill
Big bamboo basket - $5 from Goodwill
1 suitcase storage box with map of the world - $0 (my daughter's)
1 desk clock - $0 - (old clock that no longer works)
3 Dollar Tree nesting suitcase style boxes - $3
Wooden chair - $0 (shopped at home)
1 wooden bedside table with rattan drawers - $0 (shopped at home)
1 nautical table lamp - $0 (shopped at home)
1 floor torch lamp in silver finish - $0 (had it years ago)
2 pairs of 96" long curtains - $33.96 from Walmart
1 84" curtain rod - $0 (shopped around the house)
1 white wooden wall shelf with 3 Dollar Tree succulents- $0 (already had years ago)
1 American flag sailboat - $0 (shopped at home)
