What Was Order 65?
Order 65 was one of the 150 clone contingency orders that could be activated and served as the opposite to Order 66.
In the event that the majority of the senate or the Republic Security council declared the supreme chancellor to be unfit to lead, Order 65 could then be delivered to the Clone Troopers of the Republic, as well as their Jedi leaders, authorising the arrest or execution of the Supreme Chancellor.
Upon the execution of Order 65, command of the Grand Army of the Republic would then fall to the acting chancellor until a new one was appointed, or an alternate leader was identified.
