Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has touched on several issues affecting the African continent and Nigeria in particular while addressing world leaders gathered for the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He acknowledged the critical challenges of climate change, persisting global economic disparities, inequality, hunger, the COVID-19 pandemic, peace and security, as they all adversely affect the growth of the continent.
Tinubu called for international cooperation to tackling these many varied issues, and the need to unlock Africa's economy for its benefits and the overall resolution of global challenges.
