Together with Alexander Brink, I left from Cosmique hut at 2am after 2 sleepless nights and no acclimatisation as we tried to push for the summit in the only weather window for that week. After dodging a serac fall we got caught in the storm just after the summit. Therefore being forced to spend the rest of the day and night in Vallot. The smell of human waste and garbage was unbearable. Without a sleeping bag in freezing temps we endured a grim night. After a 3rd sleepless night we continued our descent through the storm with 2 groups of people that turned back from their summit push.
