I blocked my money in India through Kotak Bank before Visa without any charges.
After coming here, I opened an account in a bank which didn't charge monthly fees. (Banks in Germany 🇩🇪 charge monthly fees to keep your money)
Once the account was opened, it took 4-5 days to transfer the money.
