”Step into the magic of winter at the Nene Park Winter Festival! Join us on selected dates right up to Christmas Eve, because Ferry Meadows has transformed into an enchanted forest filled with magical surprises and festive tingles.” They are not wrong!!!
Here’s a sneak peek… I’ve just had a lovely one hour stroll around delighted with what they’ve created. You can hop on the mini train for a short ride up the track and back before stepping through the archway to a wonderful lit up trail around the visitor centre. 💡
On your way round, stop at the character face holes boards and take a photo of all the family. Then sit down and watch some of their Christmas film whilst enjoying a hot drink or some churros from their festive menu. 🥘
Pop into the shop, create a star message to hang outside (for a donation). Round the corner it’s time for another photo this time it’s Santa’s sleigh. 🛷
Then off again…. Walk up past the discovery den and into the Sett room and pick up a free book, where you can also listen to it being read and signed whilst the kids make a head band or wand.
Walk back to the forest and the adults can get a mulled wine whilst the kids enjoy roasting marshmallows with you before entering an amazing array of lights and willow weaved creatures, dancing fairies, fawns and other characters.
Fabulously done. 👏 👏
Prices are £10.50 per person.
Children under 3 are free.
Parking is also free of charge.
