This Lemongrass contains 2-3 percent lemongrass oil in the lemongrass herb. These leaves are dried so their percentage of Lemongrass Oil is less, but still, with 96% ethanol (250 ml) with 14 g Lemongrass in the flask, we can extract 2-3 percent of the Oil.

This takes some time a few days off and on heating 4-5 hrs and then cooling and letting it sit.

This is for Aromatherapy uses. The Oil is an effective antibacterial agent with other oils etc.
