The forecasting system SAFAR said that Delhi's air quality index (AQI) on Saturday morning was in the "extremely poor" category. Last week, the air quality had been in the "severe category" for three days in a row. The city's overall air quality index (AQI) was 326, and data from the "air quality early warning system Delhi" indicated that it would continue to deteriorate over the next few days. The air quality index is rated as good from 0 to 100 and moderate from 100 to 200. Air quality is considered to be poor between 200 and 300 and very poor between 300 and 400. Air quality is regarded to be severe when it is 400 to 500 or higher. However, a Central Government panel revoked the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) stage 4, after which there will be no ban on the entry of trucks and non-BS 6 diesel light motor vehicles will be permitted, in light of the improvement in Delhi-NCR's overall air quality over the past few days.
