Sen. Ted Cruz grilled Democratic political activist Stacey Abrams during a Senate hearing Tuesday, pressing the former gubernatorial candidate about how she can speak out against alleged voter suppression now while she still claims the election was "stolen" from her in 2018. Cruz also presented some facts on voter turnout which suggest minority turnout was actually much higher than other demographics, also calling claims of voter suppression into question.
This hearing comes on the heels of Major League Baseball pulling the All-Star Game out of Georgia after Democrats complained that Republicans were enacting new versions of "Jim Crow" laws.
