(27 Dec 2014) Relatives of 43 Mexican college students marched on Friday to mark three months since their disappearance on 26 September.
An estimated two thousand activists, including students from the students' college, joined in the march on the streets of Mexico City.
The marchers carried posters bearing images of the missing and held banners calling for justice.
The missing students were reportedly taken away by local police and members of a drug gang.
"For us the night of September 26 is not over. For us it is the night when time stood still, because just as on that night everything was uncertain, and everything remains uncertain," said student leader Omar Garcia.
Elsewhere in Iguala, in the state of Guerrero, a similar march was held.
Students marched to the Iguala military base where some attacked the gates of the base and painted graffiti on the walls calling for justice.
Mexican authorities have carried out a number of searches in the southern state of Guerrero since the disappearance, but have not found the missing youths.
