I travelled to Indonesia recently only to find out that the country is moving towards the cashless society. Paying by credit card was also challenging as each store has so many payment machines which the store staff were having difficulties guessing which payment machine would work with my credit card. That's why I've decided to use the GoPay app and use the app as my preferred payment method whenever I see a QR payment at the stores.

Getting some cash can easily be obtained in the country, as almost every corner has ATM machines, which is very ironic when many stores are moving towards cashless.
