Power Automate is a fantastic program that makes it easy to automate your work. By using Power Automate, you'll be able to save time and get your work done faster. In this 8 minute video, I'll show you how to use Power Automate to automate your work! This program is easy to use and will help you speed up your work process so you can spend more time doing the things that matter to you.
In this video, we'll have a look at:
1. Pricing - you can get the Developer plan for free. The per-user paid for plan is only US$15 per month.
2. The different types of flows:
automatic - this runs when an event happens, such as when a new row is added to a database
scheduled - runs on a timetable
instant - runs when you press a button, or when you it is called from (for example) Power Apps.
3. The components of a flow. A trigger starts the flow, and then actions do things.
4. Power Automate Desktop for Windows 10 and 11. You probably already have it on your computer if you have Windows 11. You can manipulate data from the web or on your computer, such as adding data to your Excel spreadsheet, or looping through all the files on your computer.
With Power Automate, you can easily create macros to do routine tasks like adding entries to your to-do list, sending email notifications, or filing your paperwork. You can also set up scheduled tasks to run automatically at specific times, so you can focus on your studies without having to worry about pesky administrative tasks!
