We departed Wenatchee for home (KCLS) early on Monday in clear, calm and cool air to fly the Mt Stuart massive for a photo op. As we passed at 9,000ft through the saddle gap at Mt Stuart summit we waved to the lucky "gnome" sentinal atop the rocky spire to our left, pleased to see that he was still there. Then onward past the Mt Daniel and Alpine Lake Wilderness and the always spectacularly close up Rainier. Love flying the mountains.
