The dumbbell curtsey lunge is an excellent exercise that targets the glutes. To get started:
1. Hold the dumbbells by your hips.
2. Step back and across your midline.
3. Make your step far enough that you feel a stretch across your butt.
4. Lower down into a lunge until your back knee almost touches the ground.
5. Press your front heel down into the ground to rise up.
