Today we are going to take a look at @MikeLiconaOfficial attempting to defend the historical Jesus and prove that mythicism is wrong. He is going to fail at both tasks, though. First, he's going to try and convince you that the question of historicity isn't even discussed in the scholarship. It is being discussed he just doesn't want to admit it is. Or rather, he CAN'T admit it's being seriously discussed because it would destroy his career to admit even that. Then he lists off a bunch of scholars to try and prove that no one is taking Mythicism seriously. He picks really bad scholars to show this though. One of the scholars, R. J. Hoffman, actually admitted he didn't think Jesus existed back in 2007. After that, he drastically changed his tone as if his livelihood was threatened. Finally, Mike gets into his evidence which is just the same bad evidence that we always get. With the exception that his lynchpin is based on the disciples writing the Gospels.
