Two refreshing recipes will convince you that the delicious combo of honey and avocado is the pairing you never knew you needed.
For Honey Avocado Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1 (15 oz) can full fat coconut milk
- 2/3 cup Nature Nate’s pure honey
- 1/2 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves
Directions:
Peel each avocado, and remove the pits. In a blender, combine all ingredients, until puree’d. Pour into a freezer-safe container. Freeze overnight, whisking every 30 minutes or so for the first 2 hours, if desired to make ice cream light and fluffy. Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
For Honey Strawberry Avocado
Ingredients
- 6 strawberries, hulled and diced
- 2 Tbsp sliced almonds
- 1 scallion, diced
- 2 Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey Packets
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted
- Sea salt
Directions:
In a bowl, stir together strawberries, almonds, scallions, honey, and lime juice. Drizzle with honey. Spoon mixture into the center of the avocado halves. Salt lightly. Garnish with chopped basil, or cilantro if desired.
