This hammer is for larp and cosplay. The core is made by a smalle piece of wood wrapped in styrodur and soft foam, the coat around is made form veg tanned leather. This makes is stable, good to handle and save. The overall weight is about 850g which is fairly light but it still has a strong swing, so it still is unpleasant to be hit by it with full force, so be sure to always be carfull in larp combat. It ist moste important that verybody has fun and nobody is hurt.

Recommended materials
- 6x6x6 cm wooden cube with a hole fitting the handle
- ~38 cm long, 1,8 cm thick wooden spar (round bar) or from fiberglass or similar
- Hard but light foam like styrodur, a board with the dimensions 40x40x4 cm is enough for wrapping the wooden core
- Soft foam, a board with the dimensions 50x50x2 cm is enough for wrapping the styrodur core.
- Pipe isolation from foam for the handle, fitting a 1,8 cm wide spar inside, with a thickness of about 0,9 cm around it and about 33 cm long
- 2,5 mm (6 oz) veg. tanned leather
- Straps:
4x ~150 cm long, 1 cm wide and 1,5 mm (4 oz) thick veg tanned leather for the handle wrapping
3x ~16 cm long, 2cm wide and 1,5 mm (4 oz) thick veg tanned leather as lashes and one for decoration for the handle
3x ~16 cm long, 2 cm wide and 2,5 mm (6oz) thick veg tanned leather as decoration for the handle, you may want to get ornamentals on there
1x ~60 cm long, 2,5 cm wide and 3,5 mm (9 oz) thick veg tanned of similar leather for the lash at the pommel
Tools: edge trimmer, cutting knife, burnisher, hole punch, leather carving tools, bone folder, clamps, sewing material, diamond shaped chisel, wing divider, glue, awl (sword and round), installation glue
