There are more and more people elk hunting every year, especially bow hunting and with that comes a need for education on the proper broadhead for elk hunting. There could be situations where your deer hunting setup and elk hunting setup are suitable for both, but there are also scenarios where your deer hunting setup just won't cut it on game as large as an elk.

So what should you be looking at? For elk hunters that like mechanical, or hybrid style broadheads it seems the desired cut is a 1 1/2" cutting broadhead.
