Ep1. Train your ear to listen to spoken Portuguese. These listening lessons are for beginners and advanced learners alike. The following is the secret to the mystery of disappearing letters in European Portuguese. Red represents suppressed syllables or letters; green represents where links in the sentence may occur and blue represents a a letter that sometimes changes to a different sound. Some of these suppressions can vary slightly depending on the speed of the speech and local accent. Please note that the resulting "linked" words in this video are not the way they would ever be written.
Also I apologize for the hoarseness of my voice today!
Note: Azuis is the plural of azul.
My name is Adelina and I’m a self taught tutor/teacher of Portuguese for foreigners as a second language since 2011. I'm fully bilingual Irish English/ European Portuguese speaker. I always have a lot of demand for lessons and work full time teaching. So I've created resources in this group, on my webpage and on my youtube channel. All my content is available for free at this time. However, if you would like to contribute with a donation or sign up to my patreon page you can do so by clicking on the links below. That would help me a lot an ensure I can continue providing all this work. Grata:
