As a first-generation Italian American, Joe Di Leo shares the story of his family’s journey from the sulfur mines in Sicily to the city streets of Buffalo, NY. Today, he publishes a magazine dedicated to preserving the history of Italian-American in Buffalo and devotes his time to helping Buffalo’s newest immigrants establish their first homes in America.
