Following his formal recognition by the Abia State Government and granting of Certificate and Staff of Office as a first-class traditional ruler as Eze Aro IX of Arochukwu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze Eberechukwu Oji, commenced official business by holding a series of meetings with various groups in the kingdom on Sunday, February 25, 2024. On that same day, he also interacted with Umuaro Okeigbo globally in his first-ever Zoom townhall meeting known as “Ububo Eze Aro and Umuaro” hosted by a Chicago-based renowned media personality, Mazi Fred Nwankwo. The panelists included Mazi Patrick Asonye, Adaukwu Alaezi Dike, Nwa-Mazi Onyemobi Anyiwo, Mazi Eugene Okey Imuoh, & Mazi Orji Ijoma. The focus was Eze Aro's vision for Arochukwu Kingdom, and he also answered questions on Youth Empowerment and Education, the Security of Arochukwu Kingdom, Arochukwu Development and Infrastructure, Cultural Revival and Tourism and strengthening bonds with Aro communities outside Arochukwu. Dr Azubike Okoro, Mazi Ernie Onwumere, Mazi Onyema Harbour and Mazi Obozulike Ofoelue ably manned the Situation Room.
