Hari Om!
Swāmī Aparājitānanda jī observes Shankarācharya jī taking the seeker step by step to Realisation (gas balloon example). Verses 1 to 6 help to develop deep vairāgya for each aspect of that world that ties us down.
Verse 20: Shankarāchārya jī is seen giving a little push to develop various layers of the personality as vividly explained by Swāmījī. It is said that even Yamarāja closes file of such a person (Eg. Bhāgavatam verse). Swāmījī explains how little effort can lead to exponential growth. He gives a smart picture of various Sādhanās in a day and how to pray to get glimpses of the Truth.
Verse 22: Importance of invoking Grace (example of Lord Vishnu's Grace to bird, Swāmī Ramakrishna Paramhamsa's example of master and servant, Swāmī Vivekānanda's story of river-dip).
Swāmījī observes that Shankarāchārya jī is giving "measured doses" for creating longing for God which compels God to shower Grace. Also, suffering can be Bliss if you take your problem to God. Otherwise, person can lose by ego and stress.
Verse 22: Swāmījī gives a mesmerizing picture of a person after Realisation enjoying life like a child, madman, ghost.
Verse 23: Shankarāchārya jī is seen at next higher level of teaching and attracting seeker to ask basic questions of life. Swāmījī gives glimpse of evolutionary aspect of humanity in full detail from tamas to beyond mind and Pūjya Gurudev's thrilling example of pole vaulter (Ultimate Reality has nothing to do with mind).
To those doubting disciples who find this Ultimate Truth hard to believe, being contrary to their experience, Shankarāchāryajī says, "Stop!"
