Hanging out with Mark in any country is always a fun time, and why not the country we both call HOME? Even after more than 11 years here, Thailand seems SO full of things to explore, and at times I wonder if there will be EVER be a day when I feel like "I've seen the country now, what next?" I consider myself very lucky to have no regrets about choosing Thailand as the place where I'm spending my life, and I am always SO honoured that you are coming to learn about this place with me, hang out with me, it really is awesome - thank you for watching this video today!
I always hope to inspire those around to take an interest in whatever it is right in front of your eyes. Dreams are great, and we humans all need dreams of a brighter future, but THIS day, TODAY, is a gift! Each day is unique! And there will never be another day exactly like this day for as long as the universe exists.
Enjoy today for everything it has, and if you would like to watch another video, then I hope you find joy in watching more videos about our lives in Thailand.
I hope you are having a better day today after hanging out with us.
Peace! And much love! See you for the next one.
-Joel

AND A BONUS**
THanks to @GravInducedSleepTrac for the name in Tagalog, Aratilis Fruit, which let me find the correct Wiki page :). THIS is what we were snacking on.
Muntingia Fruit ("Maak TaKope" in Thai) is native to Mexico and Central America, this plant is usually used for decoration, it offers nice shade with very few leaves to clean up, BUT, as the fruits are so sweet, birds love them!
Many local names around the world (Ive been told over the past few years), include the word 'bird' in them, and also 'bat!' The flavor is extremely sweet, and these grow abundantly in Thailand, and all over South and Southeast Asia, both wild and cultivated. The origin however, similar to the Roselle/Sorrel/Hibiscus, means that this tree has been so widely cultivated around the world that many cultures treat it as a native plant! Fruit is a gift, besides humans fruit is possibly my favorite THING on our Earth, so I always love learning more about fruit, please never hesitate to offer more tips, info, local knowledge, or how its used where YOU call home, I always want to learn more!
Much love!
