Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams in Sudan continue to provide medical care and support to medical facilities as best as they can, given the unrelenting violence.
People in need of care and medical staff alike face huge risks in reaching medical facilities. The needs are overwhelming, and very few hospitals are still operational.
“Large numbers of civilians have not been able to reach hospitals and have lost their lives as a result of this conflict,” said Dr. Bakri AbuBakr, MSF operations manager in Sudan, South Sudan, and Somalia. "Therefore, we clearly call for the protection of civilians.
"We also unequivocally call for the protection of medical and health facilities. This includes the protection of hospitals, medical staff, and ambulances.” Read more at [ Ссылка ]
