In the sixth episode of Poland is Changing we’ll take a closer look at environmental protection. First, we’ll take a fascinating trip to Augustów forests, where traditional beekeeping methods are being rekindled to save wild bees. In contrast to their domesticated cousins, wild bees are more diverse biologically, which makes them more resistant to diseases. They are also crucial for many forest plants.
After our forest trip, we’ll try to relax on the beaches of recreational reservoir Arturówek. Thanks to the ecohydrological reclamation carried out by the University of Lodz, this well-known point on the recreational map of Lodz boasts clean and safe water.
