Astronomers have discovered the largest galaxy known in the universe and it's a radio galaxy named Alcyoneus. The galaxy was discovered using data from Low-Frequency Array (LOFAR) and Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Alcyoneus lies in the constellation of Lynx about 3 billion light years away.
