13 Arrested Over Mismanagement of PDM Funds, Museveni Bans Police Bond for PDM Theft Suspects
Following the President's directive to crack down on the misappropriation of Parish Development Model (PDM) funds, Uganda Police has arrested 13 suspects from the districts of Serere, Moroto, and Amudat. Addressing the media at the weekly security briefing, Rusoke Kituuma revealed that the suspects are accused of using unsuspecting individuals' national IDs without consent, facilitating multiple beneficiaries from single households, among other irregularities.
