Lars Ström, long-standing design office manager at Nautor, talks about the use of Sparkman & Stephens design in Finland in the 1960's. The most notable design is the S&S Design nr. 1710 which created the Swan 36 that in turn led to the birth of Nautor. Nautor was however not the only company that used S&S designs, they were quite popular in Finland even before the Swan and were used by a number of boatyards and one-off builds.
