This technique of combining collage, watercolours and abstract mark making is my favourite way to warm up, or my go to when I'm not sure where to being in my journals. They make great stand alone pieces, but can have a focal point added to them to create a very funky background. Plus its a great way to use up any small scraps of paper floating around your rooms.
