What is happening house lover's and explorers! Happy new year to you all, and especially my subscribers and regular viewers who always show their support and comment on these old homes with their knowledge/experiences and memories. Tomorrow will be 7 years to the day when I first uploaded a few videos to this channel thinking no one would probably even watch but sure enough it grew with your support. 🙂
Many more videos to come in 2025 with both brand new exolores and more iconic Adelaide ones that I am still adding the history to which they deserve. Today's video I am still at Glandore SA, 30 Grosvenor St, where I take you through a stunning cottage that built in 1908 for John Ernest King and his wife Florence Jane King. They had 3 children here over the next 7 years. The Black Forest Baptist church was built at the rear of their property in 1913 where Florence became a devoted member of the church ladies guild right up until her death in 1980. John had passed away in 1961 so Florence had lived in the family cottage for 72 years when she passed away. True original locals to Glandore I am glad I got this home on film as it was always a beautiful looking one from the street driving past. Hope you all enjoy, Cheers for watching 🙂👍
