Prawn Fry
Easy and simple Prawn fry
This video explains how to make a delicious prawn fry with less ingredients
INGREDIENTS
Prawns - 1/2 kg , shelled and deveined
Kashmiri chili powder - 1.1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Fennel powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Coconut oil or any vegetable oil - 2.1/2 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
Shallots - 15 nos
Green Chili - 1 or 2
Curry leaves - 2 string
METHOD
Marinate the prawns with chili powder , turmeric powder , pepper powder , fennel powder and salt for 10 minutes
Heat the oil and saute ginger , green chili , curry leaves and shallots till the shallots turns to translucent .
Add the marinated prawns to this , combine well then close the lid and cook for 5 minutes
After that open the lid and cook the prawns on medium flame until the prawns and shallots are turn to brown color
Stir Occasionally
Serve with hot rice , chapathi , nan etc
