Badam Kheer
INGREDIENTS
Milk - 1 Litre
Blanched Almonds - 15
Saffron - Few Strands
Kesar Colour - 2 pinches
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Chironji Nuts - Little
Ghee - 1 Tsp
METHOD
1. Grind the almonds to fine paste with little milk.
2. Boil milk, add ground paste, stir constantly.
3. Boil for few minutes, add saffron which is soaked in a tsp. of hot milk.
4. Remove from fire, add sugar and kesar colour.
5. Mix well using a ladle until sugar dissolves completely.
6. Fry nuts in ghee, add to the kheer.
