In her June video message, Susan Danger goes over a busy month filled with many high-level activities and events. AmChams in Europe were in Washington DC and New York on 2-7 June, among other things to launch 'The Case for Investing in Europe 2013'. On 11-12 June AmCham EU's Transport, Energy and Climate Committee had a delegation to Strasbourg, on 17 June was held AmCham EU's first annual Transatlantic Digital Economy conference with Vice-President Neelie Kroes and many activities and meetings were held around the Council's approval of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiating mandate. A team from AmCham EU also participated to the Relay for Life 2013 for cancer research and a farewell cocktail was organised for The Hon. William E. Kennard, US Ambassador to the EU. Looking forward, Susan reminds us about AmCham EU's 50th Anniversary Gala that will be held on 11 July and wishes a warm welcome to Croatia, officially joining the EU on 1 July.
