I researched the best home wind turbine for use on a house in the UK. There are several things to consider, from turbulence, vibration, structural concerns and aesthetics. Most micro wind turbine systems fall foul of these but I did find an intriguing system from Canada, the Ridgeblde by The Power Collective. I couldn't find a UK installer but I think you will agree the Ridgeblade might address many of the concerns we have with wind turbines for use on a house in the UK.
