Rosemary Parkinson talks about her upcoming book on food, culture and life in Barbados and the strong links between all three. The beautiful, two volume set, with literally hundreds of stunning photgraphs and unique local stories, facts and recipes, captures the very essence of the island, its people and the surprisingly wide variety of local, regional and world cuisine to be found around this endlessly fascinating island. Following on from the success of 'Nyam Jamaica', a similar publication which received worldwide acclaim, "Barbados Bu'n Bu'n" is due for publication later this year.
Here, Rosemary talks about the new book with Michael Goodman and Peter Boyce on their weekly radio programme, "Bajan Living". Artist and photographer Corrie Scott, who worked on the book with Rosemary is also in the studio.
