Tractate Eruvin is in essence a continuation of Tractate Shabbat or Shabbos. It deals mainly with the 4 domains which are specified as permitting or prohibiting carrying and traveling on Shabbos. (Yachid, Rabim, Carmelit and Makom Ptor.) This tractate is considered one of the 3 hardest tractate to study along with the Tractate of Nidda and Tractate Yevamot.
