Cool, Canadian high pressure will build into the region today. While that keeps temperatures in check (in the 40s), at least we'll have plenty of sunshine. Even though we've seen three days in a row with mostly cloudy skies, things are looking bright today, tomorrow, and Saturday. The problem is how cold it will be. Temperatures will not get out of the 40s until Sunday afternoon!
Today will be mostly sunny with highs around 46. Tonight and tomorrow night will dip into the lower 20s...as cold as it's been since the first week of March.
A significant warm up is on tap for next week. After we get through a few scattered showers on Sunday, we'll get to 62 with mostly sunny skies on Monday. In fact, the warming will continue straight into Wednesday when a cold front is expected. Thunderstorms will be possible for midweek before we dip down into the middle 50s Thursday and Friday of next week.
