Nisi recently released the new JetMag Pro filter system. The system of filters incorporates a magnetic catch to fix the filter to an adapter ring at the front of the lens. Importantly, they have also added a safety or locking notch so that when rotated into the notch, the filter cannot fall off the front of the lens; something that can and does occasionally happen to other magnetic filter systems.
In the video review of the new system I work through the various features of the JetMag Pro: what it is, some of it's advantages over the established 100mm square filter system, as well as some caveats that photographers need to be aware of when using the system.
Ultimately though, I am really excited about the JetMag Pro, particularly as this is the start of a whole new unified system for Nisi that photographers and filmmakers can use interchangeably (Nisi have a few goodies that they have promised will come out, some as early the end of the first quarter 2025).
