Mr Chippie Drives along our usual 6-mile "difficult terrain for radio" test route to see how the Danita Mk 5 CEPT only radio works.....and it works fine.
We usually have very poor results on the CEPT band owing to foreign interference & luckily this was a day when there was only about S2 of background noise.
Other than the fact we could only get 3.6W out of this radio, it performed very well indeed. in reality the missing 0.4W makes so little difference to be un-noticable anyway.
